"Accessible World Heritage Cities" is an accessible and free application created by the Group of Spanish World Heritage Cities with the collaboration of PREDIF, the Spanish Representative Platform for People with Physical Disabilities.

The application aims to provide information to visitors with accessibility needs about the accessibility of tourism resources in World Heritage Cities of Spain. The aim of this application is to provide visitors with disabilities and or a variety of other needs, with information about the accessibility of tourism resources in Heritage Cities. Its contents make it easy to plan trips and improve their experience of the city, because they allow users to select tourism resources that interest them and the establishments, the accessibility of which is best suited to their particular needs.

The application contains routes that are of interest to tourists in each city that are best suited to the needs of PRMs (People with Reduced Mobility) and the different types of establishments found there: monuments, museums, tourist offices, accommodation, restaurants, and more.

All the information has been checked on site by PREDIF technicians using an accessibility checklist protocol specifically designed with tourism establishments in mind. The information about Úbeda and Baeza was collected in 2015 while information on the rest of the cities was updated in 2014.

Part of the information is available in Easy Read Format, a writing method which makes texts more accessible to people who have difficulties with reading comprehension, for example, individuals with a learning disability.

The application was awarded the Best Mobile Solution Prize at the 2016 edition of the Premios E-volución Awards.

The app is available for both iOs and Android devices.
