Consultancy
Accessible Portugal provides technical consultancy to public and private organisations on Universal Accessibility, with the aim of qualifying the various agents that make up the tourism chain, particularly in the areas of accommodation, catering and beverages, public spaces, transport, cultural spaces, natural or built heritage, various entertainment activities, among others. The aim is to contribute to "welcoming" all people, taking into account their various special needs for access and inclusive service.
With these services, Accessible Portugal aims to promote the widening of access to tourism for all, improving the autonomy, safety and quality of life of visitors and people who live in the targeted locations. The aim is to help disseminate a culture in which the criteria of Universal Accessibility and design for all are increasingly disseminated, guiding the agents involved in their implementation and promotion.
An accessible environment, product or service not only guarantees independence, safety and participation for people with disabilities, it is also easier for everyone to understand, use and enjoy.
