Tourism and spa programme
Since 1998, there have been between 25 and 30 different holiday groups a year comprising approximately 700 people with disabilities and their travel companions. Each trip consists of a group of thirty people, and includes specially adapted transport, travel insurance, monitors/support staff and accommodation with full board. The whole trip experience enjoys adequate accessibility, verified earlier by PREDIF.

What do our trips include?
Return trip in an adapted coach, plane (Island, ferry… (Departing from and returning to Madrid).
Adapted coach for excursions (if there are any).
Travel insurance.
Coordinator and monitor/support staff. (One requisite is that those requiring assistance with walking and personal hygiene come with their own travel companion).
Hotel with full board depending on the characteristics of each holiday.
Possibility of going on excursions and other activities.
Who can apply for a trip?
The elderly with an official disability rating of over 33%.
Beneficiaries are only able to go on one trip per call for applications.
Individuals who require assistance with walking or personal care and hygiene must have a travel companion.
How do you apply for a trip?
People applying for a trip should submit the following documentation:
Fully completed application form (Download).
Photocopy of the ID of the traveller and travel companion (should there be one).
Photocopy of the disability certificate or accreditation card.
Medical report (only for SPA trips)(Download).
Sworn statement by the travel companion (Download).
Photocopy of proof of Large Family status (where appropriate).
Supporting documents to show that the income of the Family Unit (UEC) are equal or less than €7,726 /year (where appropriate).
All documentation should be sent by standard mail at least 45 days prior to departure of the requested trip to the following address:

Discounts
Large family discount:
The members of large families taking part in the tourism and spa programme are eligible for discounts on marked prices.
The amount to be paid will be reduced by:
20% for large families – general category.
50% for large families - special category.
Discounts for UFC / Non-contributory pensions:
Beneficiaries who can show their Family Unit income is equal to or less than the full annual amount of the Non-contributory Pension from the Social Security with a supplement for a third person (€7,726) are eligible for an 80% reduction.
How to pay?
Once the place has been confirmed, payment must be received 15 days before departure, by bank transfer or bank deposit in cash:

It is essential that you send a copy of the to our offices in Madrid, via fax (+34 911593416) or via email.
You must indicate the name of the beneficiary and the trip they wish to go on.
Should the applicant decide to cancel the trip 20 or fewer days prior to departure they will not be reimbursed for the third party administrative costs, such as the issuing of the plane tickets and the travel insurance, if purchased, and shall be incurred by the applicant.
