El anfiteatro era un lugar dedicado a espectáculos en tiempos de los romanos, como la lucha de gladiadores. En el teatro ya había importantes representaciones en esa época. Los 2 edificios tienen más de 2.000 años. El teatro todavía se utiliza hoy para obras de teatro en verano. Antiguamente, cabían miles de personas en el teatro y en el anfiteatro. Para los visitantes, hay muchos carteles explicativos de la historia del sitio. El pavimento es de tierra compacta y piedra en casi todo el recorrido. Carece de aseo adaptado.
