Adjacent to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Guia, the Medieval Cemetery of Guia is one of the most significant archaeological testimonies to the medieval occupation of the parish. This ancient burial site preserves remains of medieval graves that provide valuable insight into funerary practices and the organisation of the local community during this historical period. The Hermit's House: Historically, the hermit was the guardian or caretaker responsible for looking after the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Guia and its surrounding area. Restored and enhanced as a heritage site open to visitors, the site now plays an important role in interpreting the historical and archaeological heritage of Guia. The site has two areas. The outer courtyard, shared with the chapel, can be reached independently through a side entrance with a ramp without handrails; the courtyard's main entrance has three steps. The enclosure holding the old cemetery and the Casa do Ermitão has a single entrance, with a small lip.
