El palacio de Linares, de fachada neobarroca y cuyas estancias, con una profusa decoración, se sitúan en torno a una imponente escalera de mármol de Carrara, es la sede de la Casa de América. Es un centro de diplomacia pública que tiene como objetivo estrechar lazos entre España y el continente americano, especialmente con latinoamérica. Este acercamiento se fomenta a través de la organización de seminarios, conferencias, mesas redondas, exposiciones, charlas magistrales, proyectos, conciertos, coloquios, presentaciones, talleres, etc.
