Forte São João Batista

Construído no final do século XVI (16), o forte tinha como objetivo defender a costa e a entrada do rio Douro. Com o tempo, foram adicionados baluartes modernos no século XVII (17) e um portal de acesso no século XVIII (18). Hoje, o forte abriga a Delegação Regional do Porto do Instituto de Defesa Nacional.
