Parque de São Roque or Quinta da Lameira, whose origins lie in the division of Quinta da Bela-Vista, was acquired from the Calém family by Porto City Council in 1979, opened to the public that same year and revitalized in early 1990. A set of sculptural pieces was then installed by Porto City Council and a chapel that had previously existed in Largo Actor Dias was rebuilt there, as well as the labyrinth of Buxus sempervirens.
