La playa de poniente está situada en al parte oeste de la ciudad a 800 m del centro de la ciudad, en la zona conocida como Fomento , muy próxima al puerto deportivo y forma parte del recorrido de la ruta peatonal accesible Cimavilla-Poniente. Se puede llegar en autobús, en coche o en tren, ya que la estación se encuentra a 650 m. La instalación dispone de una cabina de aseo para personas ostomizadas. Apertura y Horarios: Del 15 de junio al 9 de septiembre, de lunes a domingos de 12:00 a 20:00 h. Fines de semana de septiembre, de 12:00 a 20:00 h. Para grupos, indispensable solicitar reserva previa con una semana de antelación, por teléfono o correo electrónico, indicando las necesidades del grupo.
