| A Praia foi visitada na época balnear de 2018 | A povoação de Altura, essencialmente de apoio ao veraneio, vai acompanhando a extensa praia arenosa e o seu largo cordão dunar, disponibilizando passadiços sobrelevados que permitem aceder a diversos pontos do areal, bem como observar a diferenciação da vegetação dunar desde o interior até à frente de mar. Diversos apoios a atividades de praia são oferecidos no areal, desde uma área desportiva a apoios ao recreio náutico.
