Surrounded by high mountains, densely wooded with maritime pines and strawberry trees and surrounded by a small village, Praia Fluvial de Fernandaires presents its visitors with an extensive and splendid water basin, coming from the Castelo de Bode dam. Endowed with a unique natural beauty, the shades of maritime pines and strawberry trees abound. Fernandaires is one of the inland bathing water areas in the municipality of Vila de Rei, whose water quality was classified as "Excellent" by QUERCUS and was also awarded the title of Beach with Golden Quality. Of note is the existence of a floating pool and an inflatable water park, whose surveillance is guaranteed by the lifeguard, who remains there throughout the bathing season. To make the place even more pleasant, a snack bar is open to the public, open daily from morning to night, where meals are served throughout the summer. Here you can also practice WakeBoard, the first WakeBoard resort in the world. It is also a beach with many facilities for people with reduced mobility.
